Fueling Wild Ideas, Together
At the Den, we believe imagination deserves a chance to breathe — no matter your bank balance. That’s why we’ve started something close to my heart: The Den’s Creative Fund, a community-supported project designed to help low-income entrepreneurs and artists get the spark they need to launch their ideas into the world.
Each quarter, our community nominates deserving creatives who will receive pro bono or deeply discounted work. These spots are reserved for people whose projects ripple out beyond themselves — the ones making impact, offering healing, sparking inspiration, or simply pushing forward despite unexpected hardship.
Think of:
- Community leaders creating positive change
- Artists whose work heals or inspires
- Entrepreneurs solving meaningful problems
- Dreamers navigating hardship but still chasing the spark
How it Works
This is a pay-it-forward cycle of generosity. When current clients sponsor sliding-scale spots, they’re opening doors for emerging creatives to step through. Together, we’re making sure that at least three entrepreneurs each quarter get access to branding, design, and creative support they might not otherwise afford.
Every contribution — big or small — helps me devote time, skills, and heart into giving back. When you toss a coin into the fire here at the Den, you’re not just supporting me… you’re fueling a space where wild ideas find a home, where art gets a lift, and where soulful projects can take root.

Pull up a chair, pour yourself some tea (or something stronger, no judgment), and settle in, because the Fox Den doors are finally open. This little corner of the internet is my newly woven web of creativity, ideas, and resources. It’s part cozy library, part alchemist’s workshop, part lantern in the dark for fellow dreamers and doers.
Most of my longer musings, essays, and stories will still wander over to my Substack (Holistic Fox Journal or Unsaid Afterthoughts) — that’s where I tend to dig really deep into personal reflection, creative reverie, and the strange magic of being a wandering soul in a labyrinth of dreams. But here on the Holistic Fox Den site, you’ll find more hands-on posts:

- Ideas for brand inspiration (because your work deserves its own spotlight)

And here’s the extra exciting bit: I’ve just launched a new creative support program… think of it as planting seeds in the forest. Once the funding threshold is met (because even foxes need to eat), I’ll send out feelers into the wild to find creatives who are ready to grow but maybe feeling a little lost.
I know that space well: the lonely, overwhelming gap between vision and reality, and I want to show these solopreneurs that their dreams are worth chasing, and success doesn’t have to look one way. Sometimes, all it takes is a little support to spark momentum.
Over the years, I’ve poured hundreds of hours into helping other people build their creative projects — often without pay or even acknowledgment. I gave freely because I believe in dreams, and because I love the work. But here’s the truth: giving that much, without reciprocity, has left me drained and, at times, financially hurt.
I’m not willing to keep hopping train cars just to stay on this journey, but I also don’t believe that only those with deep pockets deserve guidance, time, or vision. My heart is still with those who are struggling to get traction. This program is my solution; a way to keep helping others without losing myself in the process.
Here’s how it works:
- Each funded threshold = $250. That’s enough to support up to two weeks of creative work on behalf of one artist, maker, or dreamer.
- If the need is greater (or the fund grows bigger), that support expands. This means more dedicated time, more tools, more fuel for their vision.
- How do we pick who gets supported? If enough creatives apply or are nominated, we’ll either hold a community vote or, in smaller cases, I’ll personally select based on need and readiness.
It’s new, experimental, and wildly hopeful. But isn’t that what creativity has always been?
